Logo Usage Instructions

Purpose

This Instruction aims to determine the method for certified organizations by CYS Certification to use the logos, trademarks, and documents belonging to CYS after certification.

CYS Logo Usage

The logo can only be used by organizations that have been certified by passing a certification audit, in accordance with the requirements of ISO IEC 17030, ISO 17021-1; R10.06 - conditions, rules, and standards regarding the use by internationally accredited organizations. These rules are announced on the website and guaranteed by the signing of the certification contract.

The use of the CYS logo and trademark shall not imply in any way that CYS is responsible for the content of the document or the related activity. The logo and certificate cannot be used in departments, affiliated companies, or subsidiaries that are not within the scope of the certification.

The logo cannot be used as a product certificate. It cannot be used on products, product and test reports, or inspection reports. (The product can be directly touchable or in a package or box.) The logo can be used on the packaging of products with a statement indicating that the certificate belongs to the management system, not the product. Example:

"This product was manufactured in our facilities certified according to the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system standard."

The certified organization can use the logo in advertising publications (newspaper & magazine ads, flyers, brochures, and catalogs) and on official documents (business cards, letterheads, invoices).

The logo can be resized as desired, provided that the aspect ratio is not changed. The logo cannot be altered in any way. The logo cannot be used in a way that is more prominent or stands out more than the organization's own logo.

In case of expiration of the certificate, suspension or termination of the certification contract, the organization must stop using the logo.

Certified organizations are obliged to comply with the provisions of this instruction as long as their certificate remains valid after receiving it. If logo usage is detected outside of this instruction, the procedures for suspending the certificate or terminating the contract will be applied according to the contract made between the organization and CYS.
